Abstract: 

In this research, a ab initio (computational) study was performed on some electronic/vibrational transport properties of a field-effect MOLECULAR switch. Since the ON/OFF switching mechanism of this MOLECULAR switch is performed by applying an external electric field, therefore, quantum study of mechanism of charge/energy transfer (at atomic scale), and also predict the behavior of voltage-current (I-V) plot of this field-effect MOLECULAR switch were investigated, using atoms-in-molecule theory (AIM), and Landauer theory (LT). Analysis of these results showed that when the intensity of the applied electric field increases to 0. 006au, the MOLECULAR switch is in the (ON) state. In addition, in this study, the effect of electrode (gold) on some transport properties of this field-effect MOLECULAR switch was also studied. Analysis of this results show that the gold electrodes play an important role in the local (intraMOLECULAR) charge and energy transfer, and consequently the I-V diagram of this MOLECULAR switch. It is expected that such ab initio quantum research (without the use of numerical methods such as Green's function methods) could open new horizons in the quantum study of MOLECULAR parts at the atomic-intraMOLECULAR scale.

Abstract: 

By using MOLECULAR farming, plants are used as a bio-reactor for producing low cost recombinant proteins. This technology had been successful in the production of primary products in the commercial field. Other recombinant products are in final steps of production. In the last 10 years, up to 100 different recombinant proteins are produced in transgenic plants. Plants have many advantages in comparison with other expression systems, especially in economic, safety, operations and production aspects. However, there are some problems for using plants as a bio-reactor with the goal of recombinant proteins production that should be considered. Some of these problems are: the quality of final product, extraction and the processing of plant derived pharmaceutical macromolecules and bio-safety. In this study, we will review the global view of MOLECULAR farming and some successful cases in Iran. During 8 years of research in the field of MOLECULAR farming in Iran, especially in Tarbiat Modarres University, different kinds of recombinant proteins such as VHH single domain antibody in tobacco and canola and tPA protein in tobacco were expressed. The human gamma interferon in canola and tobacco and also the luciferase enzyme in tobacco, African violet and canola were produced. Also, useful projects are executed in the field of transplastomic plants in order to express the mentioned genes in the chloroplast. In transferring the human pro-insulin gene to chloroplast genome, this gene was bombarded onto tobacco leaf ex-plants using a particle delivery system. Leaf ex-plants produced adventitious shoots when cultured on shoot-inducing medium containing spectinomycin. The results of peR confirmed that the pro-insulin gene was present in the chloroplast genome.

Abstract: 

Background and Objectives: Hepatitis C is the most common viral disease among intravenous drug users transmitted mainly through blood transfusion. In this study, we used an isothermal nucleic acid sequence-based amplification (NASBA) in combination with a MOLECULAR beacon probe-based real-time assay for detection of HCV.Materials and Methods: In this experimental study, the conserved 5’NCR region with the length of 241 bp was used for probe and primers design. In comparison with the standard, RNA virus detection sensitivity of the method was 100 percent for up to 500 copies/ ml.Results: No serological positive sample was detected with this assay; the clinical sensitivity of reaction was 96.6%. NCBI Nucleotide Blast showed 100% analytical specificity and no cross was observed with viruses or human genome. Investigation of 10 serological negative samples showed the clinical specificity to be 100%.Conclusions: In summary, due to its isothermal nature, its speed, and its use for RNA specific amplification, NASBA real-time assay will have broad applications for the rapid detection of HCV in plasma samples.

Abstract: 

In the era of "professional work and rapidity of its performance", it is very important to note that the players should know the principles, rules and regulations of the game very well. It should be noted that there is a complete difference between working more intelligently and working more or harder. An intelligent work means the maximum usage of possibilities, equipment and time; The latter is the most important among all. The article is a realistic view over this subject; In fact it is the result of the study, research and finally the expertise sessions held by the elite in this field ( for three years) with the presence of different car ELECTRONICS in not too long ago. The aim of this article is not to open up the theoretical backgrounds, but it is going to provide a perspective, though briefly, in the field of car ELECTRONICS and utilizing the patterns in their suitable stand in order to make this view practical (from ELECTRONICS point of view , suggested methods for upgrading homemade car production).Nowadays, governments are trying to control the amount of toxic, dangerous and harmful pollutants production by the ecology rules and regulations. Of course, in these societies, considering their limited resources in huge economy, it is an undeniable necessity to save as much fuel as possible from one side, and considering the possibility of satellite connection and suitable communication infrastructures, a car is not taken as a mere transport means from the other side.
